Starting with their exhibition "Zack!", the hosts Berg and Ludwig present performative video works as a duo. The humorous short videos, which combine influences from classical video art with modern YouTube aesthetics, are staged in a two-channel video projection format to captivate the audience. An accompanying publication documents the performative actions and emphasizes their unfinished nature, which is intended to encourage emulation.

For his first solo exhibition "Herbakkers", Glenn de Cock will move into the rooms of Space NN. Glenn is a media artist living in Belgium (Ghent) who combines state-of-the-art computer technology with ancient legends and fantasy stories in his works. He generates and animates entire worlds on the PC, from which he then takes individual elements and transforms them into sculptures using modern 3D printing techniques. In this way, he creates hybrid spaces in which fantasy and reality merge and the digital materialises in a strange way. For the exhibition in Munich, Glenn is going one step further by integrating an interactive video game into the exhibition and allowing viewers to interact immersively with his fantasy worlds.

“You always say you want to experience things but I don't think you actually want to experience things because you would experience it if you wanted to experience things.” -Kendall Jenner
Dear artists,
We are very happy that you have accepted the invitation to “Upsi!”
Now we want to share with you the concept of the show:
You are all chosen either for your tendency to follow your visual/conceptual brand, material or topic
and since you all have a clear noticeability as upcoming artists in Munich, we would like to challenge
you.
As an aspiring professional artist, your focus lies on sharpening your artist profile. You are
constantly seeking to develop your own work, while at the same time always looking for ways to present
and market your art. In this cycle, there is sometimes little room for experimentation, digression and
failure. “Upsi!” encourages you to do just that. We want to see work that takes you out of your comfort
zone.
Assuming that “Upsi!” is the next best thing to self-manifestation, you have willingly given us your
artist statement, thanks ! ;
How far you are willing to break out of your routine for “Upsi!” will now be measured by your statement,
as it will serve as a critical opponent of your own piece.
Just for record, we don’t want you to create a totally new brand yet would like to give you a space to
do a small Upsi.
If you are up for challenging your materials, approaches, concepts or visuals we would love to have you
as a part of the show.
Let us know if you are in and how you would approach it.
We are looking forward to it !
Bussi,
Berg & Ludwig
"Split Subject" delves into the intricate concept that individuals seldom exist as cohesive entities; instead, they continually grapple with a divided self. This exhibition invites participants to explore the perpetual dance between the idealised, grammatical self – the image we aspire to project to the external world – and the enunciated self, which represents the unfiltered and often awkward core of our existence. Join us in unravelling the layers of authenticity and perception as we navigate the complex interplay between these two facets of self.
The artists Milena Wojan and Julie Bender present their photo-media hybrid "Eskaliert Sowieso" | Finissage 24.04 18:00 (Escalates Anyway). Milena responds to Julie's paintings with photos, and vice versa, creating an engaging dialogue centered around conflicts in romantic relationships. The works are complemented by performances from the artists and guests (including Shreddy Julian Elbel), completing the visual backdrop of love, hate, anger, and sadness into a comprehensive art drama. The artists also actively involve the audience, such as serving a gigantic wedding cake at the opening.

"Bring your own Beamer (BYOB)" is a public evening for video art. The concept is as simple as it is radical. Anyone who has their own video projector can participate in the exhibition. The curation takes place spontaneously on site. "BYOB" offers the opportunity to participate in an art exhibition without barriers, thus fostering encounters and artistic connections that go beyond the usual art openings.
